CS2 Smoke Practice

Learn your smokes, flashes and molotovs: set up a practice server in one paste, save each lineup straight from the game, then drill them until they stick.

  1. 1

    Load a practice server

Start a local map from the console (map de_mirage), then paste the practice config.

  2. 2

    Save lineups with getpos

Stand on the spot, aim at the lineup, type getpos in the console and paste the result here.

  3. 3

    Drill until learned

Teleport back to any lineup in one paste or one numpad key, count your reps and mark it learned.

Lineups by map

Add a lineup

Type getpos in the CS2 console while aiming at the lineup, then copy the line it prints.

Bulk import Paste many getpos lines, upload a console.log, a backup, or share links.

Fastest way to save a whole session

1. Add -condebug to CS2's launch options and bind a key: bind f "getpos"

2. In practice, press the key on every lineup that works. To name one, type echo CT jump smoke window first.

3. Upload Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\console.log here. Maps are read from the log, and words like flash, molly, CT or jump in a name fill in the details.

My lineups

No lineups yet. Load a practice server, find a lineup you want to learn, and save it with getpos above.

Saved in this browser only.

Throw trainer

Learn how throw type, aim and movement change where a grenade lands, in a practice yard right in your browser. Six challenges, a trajectory preview, and a "show me" lineup for each.

Loads the 3D yard (about 600 KB). Works with mouse and keyboard or touch.

Grenade physics follow CS2's throw speeds, gravity and bounces closely but not exactly, and the yard is not a real map. Use it to learn how throws behave, then confirm real lineups in game with the practice config below.

Make lineups repeatable

Pick a spot you can find by feel: a corner, a wall edge or a line on the floor. Then aim at something small and fixed, like an antenna tip or a roof corner.

Throw the same way every time

Note the throw type with each lineup. A left-click and a jump throw from the same spot land in very different places.

Practice from memory

After a few reps from the teleport, walk to the spot yourself and line it up without help. Only mark it learned when that works first try.

Screenshots from the game

Strongly recommended: lineups with both screenshots are approved first. Take them in game (F12 in Steam), then pick the files here.
